Our Los Angeles Home Care Services

Most families arrive not knowing what the service is called only that the current arrangement has stopped working. Start with the comparison below, or skip it and call us. Working out what’s actually needed is the first thing we do, and it’s free.

Most families don't stay in one box

Very few situations sit neatly inside one service. A family might start with companion care twice a week, add personal care when bathing becomes a fight, and move to overnight coverage after a hospital stay. Another might use respite on Tuesdays and 24 hour care during a two-week recovery.

You're not choosing a package. You're choosing a starting point, and we adjust from there no contract to renegotiate, no minimum commitment to work around.

In Home Care

The umbrella over everything below. If you're early in this and don't yet know which service fits, start here: it covers what non-medical home care includes, what it doesn't, and how it differs from home health.

Companion care icon

Companion Care

Conversation, cards and walks, rides to appointments and the grocery store, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and a reliable person in the house a few times a week. In Los Angeles, this often starts when someone stops driving and the world gets much smaller very quickly.

Personal care icon

Personal Care

This is usually the service families put off longest, because asking for it means acknowledging a line has been crossed. Bathing and hygiene, dressing and grooming, toileting and continence care, transfers and mobility support, feeding assistance, and medication reminders.

Memory care icon

Memory Care

Dementia care isn't harder care, it's different care. Routine and environment doing the work that reasoning can't. Redirection instead of correction. Managing wandering and sundowning without turning the home into a locked ward. And care that adjusts as the disease moves rather than being renegotiated every few months.

24-hour home care icon

24 Hour Home Care

For when someone can't safely be left alone at any hour after a fall, after a discharge, or when nights have become the dangerous part of the day. Caregivers work in rotating shifts so someone is always awake and alert, rather than one person sleeping in a spare room.

Respite care icon

Respite Care

The only service here where the person buying it is the person who needs it. A scheduled afternoon each week, an overnight so you can sleep through the night, or a full week while you travel or recover from your own surgery.

How It Works

Getting started takes one phone call

Step 01 — Call us

Tell us what's going on. You don't need to know what the service is called. If you're calling from a hospital room or a rehab hallway, say so discharges move to the front of the line.

Step 02 — Free in-home assessment

We come to the home, meet your loved one, learn the routine in detail, and look at the house with fall risk in mind. No charge, no obligation.

Step 03 — Meet your caregiver

We match on care needs, personality, and language, then introduce the caregiver before the first shift. If the match isn't right, tell us and we'll send someone else.

Still not sure which one you need?

Call us and describe the situation. We'll come out, meet your loved one, and tell you what level of care it actually calls for including when that's less than you were expecting.
