Non-medical care at home for Los Angeles seniors, from a few hours a week to around the clock. Trained, registered caregivers, matched to the person they’re caring for, and supervised by a care manager who stays involved.
By the time a family calls a home care agency, they've usually been holding things together for a year or more. A daughter stopping by after work. A son taking weekend mornings. A spouse doing more than their own health can carry and telling everyone they're fine.
They call when that stops adding up and what they find, too often, is an agency that sends whoever is available, asks no real questions about the person, and treats the schedule as the product.
We started Urban Health Care Solutions because that gap is fixable. Not with better marketing language about compassion, but with the unglamorous operational things: screening caregivers properly, matching them to the person rather than the opening, sending the same people back, covering our own call-outs, and having someone actually supervising the care instead of hoping it goes well.
Most agencies describe how they feel about care. These are the commitments you can actually check.

We match on temperament, on interests, and on language. Los Angeles doesn't have one first language and neither do our caregivers, a companion who can't hold a conversation with your mother isn't much of a companion.

Every client gets a small dedicated team, so the same familiar faces come back. It matters everywhere. It matters enormously in dementia care, where a new person resets trust to zero.

A caregiver calling in sick is our problem to solve, not yours. Families shouldn't be scrambling because our scheduling didn't hold.
The same three steps on every service we offer. No intake maze, no contract before you’ve met anyone.
Tell us what's going on. You don't need to know what the service is called or how many hours you need that's what we're here to work out. If you're calling from a hospital room or a rehab hallway, say so. Discharges move to the front of the line.
We come to the home, meet your loved one, and learn the routine in real detail how they take their coffee, which chair is theirs, what time is hardest, what sets them off. We also walk the house looking at fall risk. There's no charge for the visit and no obligation after it.
We match on care needs, personality, and language, then introduce the caregiver before the first shift. Nobody's first introduction should happen at the front door on day one. If the match isn't right, tell us and we'll send someone else no explanation needed.
Call us and tell us what's going on. We'll come to the home, meet your loved one, look at the situation honestly, and tell you what kind of help it actually calls for.
