In-Home Care in Los Angeles

Non-medical care at home for Los Angeles seniors, from a few hours a week to full days. Trained, registered caregivers, matched to the person they’re caring for, and supervised by a care manager who stays involved.

The Point Where Managing Stops Working

There's rarely a decision. The arrangement just stops holding.

For a year or two it worked. A daughter came by after work. A son took the weekend mornings. A spouse handled everything in between and told everyone they were fine. Somebody drove to appointments, somebody else handled the pills, and the gaps got covered by whoever could move something around that week. Then it stopped adding up. Not because anything dramatic happened though sometimes it does but because the person doing the most started running out of room, and the gaps stopped being gaps and started being risk.

If you're reading this, you've probably been circling the conversation for a while. Maybe you've had it once already and it didn't go well. You don't need to have it figured out before you call. Working out what's actually needed is the first thing we do, and if the answer is less than you were bracing for, we'll tell you that.

What In-Home Care Includes

Urban Health Care Solutions provides non-medical home care. We help with daily life at home: the bathing, the meals, the getting around safely, the company. We don’t provide nursing or therapy. If what your family needs is skilled care at home, that’s home health, and we’ll point you toward it rather than take the call.

Why Los Angeles Families Choose Us

Screened and registered caregivers icon

Screened, registered, and trained

Every caregiver is listed on the California Home Care Aide Registry and cleared through DOJ and FBI background checks.

Language-matched caregivers icon

Caregivers who speak your parent's language

We match on language and cultural fit, not just availability because a companion who can't hold a conversation with your mother isn't much of a companion.

Consistent care teams icon

Consistent teams, not a rotating cast

We build a small dedicated team around each client, so the same familiar faces come back. It matters everywhere and it matters enormously in dementia care.

Call-out coverage icon

We cover the call-outs

A caregiver calling in sick is our problem to solve, not yours.

Care manager supervision icon

Real supervision

A care manager builds the plan, checks in, and adjusts as things change.

No long-term contract icon

No long-term contracts

Start when you need it, change it when things change, stop when you don't.
